Come join me for an exciting and profound workshop where you will learn how to move deeper into your practice than ever before and experience more freedom in your body than ever imagined. Most people either “push” or “power” their way through their bodies. Come learn how to work from the inside out with ease and effortlessness. What might your yoga practice be like if it were effortless?
Micro Yoga is a technique that allows you to gain access to these holding patterns and with inner awareness and gentle cues you will be able to let them go. The techniques are simple and easy to learn. This workshop will help you with the following:
- Learn how to slow your practice down
- Experience the art of listening to your muscles
- Practice moving from the inside out
- Release long-held areas of tension and old injuries
- Transform the way you move and practice yoga
- Take your practice from “black and white” into “color.”
This workshop is open to all levels, from beginners to the most advanced. Come prepared to move beyond the walls of your limitations with focus and ease. Your practice will never be the same after experiencing this workshop.

Are you feeling bottled up with all your emotions stuck inside? Are you having physical body issues like headaches and jaw pain because you are holding back the wave of emotion that wants to flow out? When was the last time you had a good cry to release the dam of emotional energy?
Come join me for a dynamic and insightful experience where you will have the opportunity to access deep layers of emotions and find new tools on how to release those emotions. Students who have taken this workshop in the past have reported feeling freer and more alive than they have in quite some time.
Emotional Yoga is a unique way to utilize the yoga flow as a way to generate energy and move it out to the surface. With precise verbal cues and a supportive environment, waves of emotion begin to be released through the entire body. This feels like a suit of armor has been lifted off you.
In this workshop you will experience the following;
- Healthy ways to release anger
- Emotions are normal and not to be feared
- When we do not release our emotions we get sick
- Emotional release is part of optimal health
- Relaxation is the end product of emotional expression
- Grieving is a normal part of life
This workshop is open to all who are willing to explore their emotional reality. While some knowledge of yoga would be helpful, it is not required. This workshop is open to all levels. Be prepared to express yourself and move through some uncomfortable feelings. Wear loose fitting clothing and be prepared to move. Peace and relaxation lies on the other side.

Do you suffer from pain that never seems to go away? Are you always “under stress” and do you find it difficult to relax? Have you been diagnosed with a condition and told that there is nothing that can be done?
Now there is hope! Come join me for an exciting and new series that will open your eyes to relaxation and give you tools to work through times of stress. You will let go of many old habits and find new ways to eliminate pain and stress from your life.
The Chronic Pain and Stress Awareness Course is a five-week program that meets for six Sunday afternoons in a row. You will have a chance to develop new ways to not just survive your pain but to eliminate it.
Here are some of the tools that you will take home with you.
- Discover how natural breathing can enable you to relax
- Learn what the message is behind your pain
- Find hope that healing is possible
- Practice gentle movements for pain-free living
- Become aware how restorative yoga can bring you back to balance
This course is for those who have suffered with chronic pain for many years and for those who are motivated in learning how to lead a relaxed life. All ages and abilities are welcome. Participants must be able to get on the floor and move and must commit to the entire six sessions. There is also an additional hour of homework each day for the length of the course. The only requirement is the willingness to practice gentle movements, the courage to face your pain and the commitment to put the time in to do so. Check your calendar and make sure you are available for all six sessions before signing up.

Did you know that the way most people walk actually leads to back problems? Are you feeling like your natural ability to move through your gate is limited? Are you looking for a natural way to regain your youthful walk where you had confidence and vitality?
This brand new and exciting workshop will help you to discover a whole new way to walk. Based on principles in nature, Natural Walking will bring your arms and hips into balance while allowing you to discover how you have been holding yourself tight for all of these years.
Most people walk from place to place without ever realizing how they got there. This workshop will also bring you back to the “zen of walking,” allowing you to feel the earth beneath you with every step. This is an “awareness” workshop and not a “power walking” workshop. You will become aware of the bottoms of your feel and how your legs support you. In this workshop you will experience the following;
- Learn how you hold your arms and shoulders
- Notice how your weight is placed on your feet
- Heal your body of back pain while you are walking
- Become conscious of every step
- Move with a new attitude
- Become aware how natural walking leads to improved vitality
This workshop is open to all. We will be meeting at Laguna Beach Yoga Works and taking a short and gentle stroll to an off-site location. Here you will have the opportunity to practice a new stride while becoming aware of how you move. Please bring a hat and sunscreen if needed.
